Blankets and baby hats were dedicated Sunday, April 22. Amity House expects over 175 children to be temporary residents during the year. Lord of Life has made a blanket for each one of them. The statistics (which are impressive!) are . . .

• 175 blankets for Amity House children
• 254 baby hats were crocheted for newborns in Burundi
• 57children's hats were made for older children in Nepal

The congregation participated in a "Blessing of the Works of Our Hands"

Today we seek God's blessing as we gather with thankfulness to bless these blankets and hats made by the hands of Lord of Life members to the glory of God. All your works praise you, O Lord, and your faithful servants bless you. Be with us now and bless us as we dedicate these blankets and hats to your glory and praise.

Grant us faith to know your gracious purpose in all things, give us joy in them, and lead us to the building up of your kingdom; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord
